MAIN OBJECTIVES

The primary objective is to provide assistance and support to Aircraft Maintenance Planning Supervisor in satisfying the short term planning (below 'A' Check) as per the requirements of Aircraft Maintenance Programme.

MAIN DUTIES

1. Supports AMPS in scheduling both routine and non-routine short-term maintenance for aircraft, ensuring optimal aircraft utilization..

2. Assists AMPS in the preparation and maintaining of pictorial display of aircraft operational schedule, a minimum of one week in advance, and to keep all concerned departments within GF and the Contracted Maintenance Support Organisation informed of the current schedule of operation.

3. Assists AMPS in collaborating with multiple GF departments, such as the Maintenance Control Centre, Integrated Operations Centre, GF Networks, In-flight Services, and Ground Services, to effectively meet maintenance requirements within the operational timetable.

4. Assists AMPS in providing liaison for all major maintenance checks ('A' Checks and above) between GF and The MRO.

5. Assist the AMPS in the preparation of all routine minor inspections and informs line maintenance of necessary work requirements.

6. Continuous oversight of aircraft operational patterns is essential, along with providing support to the AMPS for any necessary flight change notifications as they arise.

7. Assist AMPS in monitoring aircraft flight hours, cycles, and the timing for upcoming maintenance inspections..

8. Monitor and Follow up necessary and prompt actions for all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities organized by the AMPS.

9. Assist in the assignment and de-assignment of GF fleet tail allocation within the Movement Manager system..

10. Timely preparation and dissemination of printed work packages for line maintenance.

11. Keep a record logbook and oversee all work packages, ensuring the prompt return of any work packages that are missing or have not been returned from BAH.

12. Ensure that all work packages have the necessary signatures and confirm that each signature is accompanied by the appropriate authorization number.

13. Collects all finalized work packages from line maintenance and forwards them to the technical records section.

14. Assist AMPS in maintaining the library and records of the department.

EDUCATION

Must have acquired, as a minimum, secondary education with further higher technical qualification, equivalent to HND.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 2 year working experience, preferably in Aircraft Technical environment or an equivalent Engineering discipline.
