JOB PURPOSE
Actively support the process of flights planning and slot coordination in compliance with the operational standards and regulations set by APOC Flight Scheduling and Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs.
Responsible for effective monitoring of on time Performance at Bahrain International airport and escalate major deviation in the published Seasonal Flight schedule including the conduct of data analysis, terminal capacity assessment, simulation, and performance enhancement.
Design and customize reports in the Airport Management Information System in coordination with the ICT for all related functions of APOC.
This includes, but is not limited to, conducting research, the production of periodical and ad-hoc reports, the collection and monitoring of KPIs and SLAs. Drafting relevant documentation, procedures and processes relating to the Performance function of resource management at BIA including the analysis conducted to produce such documents.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Create efficient scenarios for the Seasonal Flights Planning and Resource Allocation..
Create Actual Seasonal Flight and Resource Allocation Planning of the BIA using the resource management simulation tool in a close coordination with the resource allocation management staff of APOC.
Execute the short-term Flight Data Processing by refining the seasonal and weekly plans including all upcoming operational changes and constraints.
Analyze data and information gathered to then produce reports and conclusive statements on all BIA areas with regards to facts, figures and statistics on flights movements and resource management aspects. Ensuring the completeness and quality of the analysis conducted.
Prepare statistical report on the BIA seasonal schedule which indicates a detailed comparison repot on the national carrier schedules (Gulf Air), summary comparison of airlines schedule and peak analysis report, including Cargo, military, VVIP, special flight, non-scheduled flights, etc.
Support the Flight Data Management activities of APOC to refine the status of Actual Flights operated at BIA for Finance and Commercial reasons.
Design and Customize reports in the Airport Management Information System in coordination with concerned parties of ICT.
Capacity assessment, update, simulation and forecasting for flights movements and resources at BIA.
Proactively engage with setting any KPIs and performance business rules and liaising with relative department to ensure that systems are up to date with such information.
Responsible for conducting and managing surveys and monitoring of processes impacting performance and KPIs of resource management.
Conduct periodic review of SLAs and KPIs of resource management to ensure its applicability and effectiveness, and alignment with organizational goals.
Prepare periodical reporting, analysis, and presentations for performance and KPI discussions with stakeholders, as directed by the Vice President of APOC and Shift Leaders. To drive initiatives to enhance operational service delivery standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in business management, IT, aviation science or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 7 years work experience within the aviation sector.
