MAIN OBJECTIVES
The Digital Marketing Specialist at Gulf Air will support the setup, execution, and reporting of email campaigns, along with regular and ad hoc digital reporting. They will develop cross-marketing and testing campaigns to enhance marketing effectiveness and manage each step in the workflow to ensure timely delivery. Basic HTML coding skills are required. The specialist will execute and optimize digital display campaigns, SEO, and SEM, focusing on improving conversion rates for digital marketing campaigns and Gulf Air’s website and subsites. They will iterate daily on digital marketing campaigns, emphasizing building the brand’s social media presence through tags, promotions, user engagement, and algorithm knowledge.
MAIN DUTIES
Support and manage the development and execution of digital marketing initiatives, including social media, website, and automation programs, to enhance e-commerce platforms.
Develop a website traffic plan with specific goals and benchmarks, and optimize the website and social media channels for SEO and usability.
Execute and track SEO and SEM campaigns, and develop social media plans, managing the content calendar and directing paid search efforts.
Prepare and distribute online newsletters and promotional emails, providing creative ideas for content marketing and updating the website.
Collaborate with the team to improve user experience and support the Marketing team with content uploads across websites and portals.
Track campaign ROI and provide data-driven insights, conducting A/B testing to evaluate new ideas and ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery of digital marketing campaigns.
Manage social media channels, including content publishing, effectiveness monitoring, and daily operations such as theme and layout changes.
Monitor conversations and consumer comments, report opportunities, and take action to enhance engagement.
Establish automated campaigns for customer lifecycle marketing, segment audiences, and optimize campaigns for effectiveness.
Identify new digital channels to communicate Gulf Air products and offerings, leveraging research and competitive intelligence to position Gulf Air as the airline of choice.
Regularly review the website for link integrity, user experience, and performance, ensuring content originality and preventing duplication.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s in Web Media, Multi Media, Marketing or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in a similar role is preferred.
