Main Objectives
The CRM Developer & Coordinator is responsible for co-coordinating CRM training activities within the Training Department. The job holder is also responsible for developing appropriate Crew Resource Management (CRM) training for all Technical Crew. The job holder will refer to Manager AQP for guidance.
Main Duties
1. Design & develop CRM training for all Flight and Cabin Crew including joint Cabin Crew and Flight Crew training scenarios where practicable.
2. Act as a subject matter expert while validating non-technical behavioral markers included in simulator Line Oriented Flight Training (LOFT) exercises; as required by the approved LOFT development methodology.
3. Coordinate with CRM facilitators (Pilot and Cabin Crew) on matters related to design, development and delivery of CRM training.
4. Job holder may be required to maintain the necessary qualifications and deliver training in other disciplines as described in Job Description of Cabin Crew Instructor.
5. Assist Manager AQP in the development and incorporation of non-technical skills training in Gulf Air’s AQP Training curriculum.
6. Assist MAQP in the development and maintenance of the CRM training Appendix in OM D for Flight and cabin Crew.
7. In the event of a requirement, represent Gulf Air on all matters pertaining to CRM with concerned out¬side agencies.
8. Provide CRM expertise to the Flight Safety Department when required.
9. In conjunction with the Manager AQP, establish, develop and maintain Pilot Instructor and Evaluator Training and Calibration (IETC) of non-technical skills as required by Gulf Air’s AQP.
10. In conjunction with the Manager AQP, establish, develop and maintain Gulf Air’s CBTA (NOTECHS behavioral matrix).
11. Investigate ways of effective, efficient and cost effective training for CRM training delivered by Facilitators.
12. Be actively involved in the selection and training of CRM Facilitators.
13. Identify, establish and maintain Quality Procedures related to CRM training.
14. Responsible for supporting and acting upon the recommendations and findings from the internal and external audits related to CRM training. This will include regular interrogation of AQD system and recording finding responses.
15. Other tasks as may be required and duly notified by MAQP or Senior Manager Training.

Experience
Preferably current or Previous professional aircrew member with a scheduled airline, preferably with experience as Instructor in aircrew CRM training delivery. Experience in development of CRM training will be of advantage. CRM Developer & Coordinator may be required to retain qualification as crew, subject to business needs.IT Skills, particularly in Office applications and SharePoint is essential.
Qualifications
University degree or certificate related to training
Effective communication skills and fluency in English.
Extensive knowledge of CRM with understanding of Human Factors.
