MAIN OBJECTIVES
Maintain standards of Customer Service and monitor service level at airports in order to achieve targets.
MAIN DUTIES

A. CHECK-IN/DEPARTURE

1. Carryout pre-flight check, ensure flights are properly edited and adequate check-in facility allocated to passenger/baggage check-in.

2. Anticipate contact with high yield passengers prior to check-in and extend necessary courtesy as required.

3. Undertake passenger’s escort and service duties as directed by station management with particular emphasis on passengers requiring special service.

4. Carryout handling of passengers and baggage check-in in accordance with the company procedure and service standard.

5. Provide maximum attention/care to passengers on delayed flight and denied boarding passengers.

6. Ensure action plan on oversold flight is accurately implemented as directed and planned by station management.

7. Carryout check on passenger travel documents to ensure validity of passport/visa to the country of passenger’s destination.

8. Ensure safeguard of revenue documents and handling as per company procedure.

9. Ensure accuracy of post flight and timely dispatch of messages.

10. Handle TEL/FAX check-in as per local procedure.

B. TRANSIT & TRANSFER

1. Ensure efficient and adequate handling of enroute transit passengers:

a) Passengers entitled for STPC are handled as per company procedure/policy.
b) Meals/refreshments provided to passengers as per company procedure/policy.
c) Direct passengers to their respective onward flight as necessary.

C. ARRIVALS

1. Attend arrival flights as applicable, escort passengers requiring special handling.

2. Provide assistance to passenger at baggage reclaim area as applicable; liaise with ramp agent for quick delivery of baggage.

3. Liaise with baggage service (lost and found section); follow up cases of mishandled baggage as applicable.

D. FIRST CLASS LOUNGE

1. Work as receptionist at first class lounge as directed by station management, extend welcome courtesy and brief passengers of their boarding time.

2. Ensure all reading materials are up to date and sufficient quality is available.

3. Ensure sufficient refreshment is available.

4. Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the lounge.

5. Escort passengers to departure gate as and when necessary.

Experience
Minimum 3 years airline related experience
Qualifications
High school education with good command of English.
