MAIN OBJECTIVES
Control, guide and supervise the reservations and ticketing functions and ensure efficient operation to achieve an acceptable standard of services.
MAIN DUTIES
1. Responsible for all aspects of daily operation of reservations and ticket offices in assigned district.
2. Responsible for liaison between GF and Industry Distribution System and constant monitoring of systems.
3. Ensure equipment is maintained and in working condition and services are satisfactory.
4. Attend inter-departmental, regional and system meetings to discuss sales targets, changes in reservations and ticketing procedures and updates on reservation systems.
5. Enforce Reservations and Ticketing Procedures and Quality Control practices and ensure the implementation of the policy to render an acceptable service to the customers.
6. Represent GF in Industry Distribution Committee.
7. Handle Reservations and Ticketing problems as they occur.
8. Interview and arrange training for the new Reservations and Ticketing staff.
9. Handle all correspondence relating to Reservations, Ticketing and distribution systems.
10. Liaise with and supervise offline/GSA/ATO in assigned district.
11. Assist and advise (Sales Manager/Commercial Manager/Area Commercial Manager) on Reservations & Ticketing matters requiring his intervention.
12. Represent GF in industry and Billing Settlement Plan Committees.
13. Maintain close contacts with embassies, travel agents, business houses and other airlines by personal contacts and through the Local Interline Reservations Groups.
14. Maintain close contact with industry product distribution systems on a management level to ensure maximum exposure of Gulf Air in external computers and other distribution systems.

Experience
3 years airline experience with a thorough background in cargo, passenger fares and ticketing.
Qualifications
OND level with good knowledge of English language. Fares, Ticketing and Airline Reservations knowledge is essential.
