MAIN OBJECTIVES
To develop, deliver, regularly revise and update Load control and Ramp safety Training Courses in accordance with Gulf Air policy, Civil Aviation and IATA industry criteria, in support of the operations requirements of Ground Operations, Ground Handling Agents, Flight Operations and any other department that demands load control training and support.
MAIN DUTIES
Liaise with Senior Manager Ground Operations, Manager Airport Support, Hub and outstation Airport managers to establish Load control training schedule as required.
Production and regular revision of Load control and Ramp safety related Training Courses materials, including design of course syllabi for new courses, as and when appropriate.
Conduct both Manual, Automated Load control and Ramp safety training courses including assessment and evaluation of trainees as per Ground Service Training schedule or as demanded.
Prepare and dispatch Training Reports, Failure Reports, Training Certificates, Load control Licenses, individual course evaluation, if applicable up on completion of each training course delivery.
Update Training records in ACMS and on the Lod control Excel sheet Training Record at Ground Service Training SharePoint up on completion of each Load control or Ramp safety Training.
Regularly monitor both Training Records (ACMS and GST SharePoint) for appropriate action to keep these records up to date. Liaise with Senior Manger Ground Operations, Manager Airport Support, Airport Mangers or GHA coordinators concerned for scheduling Revalidation Trainings within in 3 months of renewal due date or as demanded.
Provide on-the-job-training, RAMP visits, RAMP Audit as required.
Conduct Training need analysis (TNA) as necessary.
Carry out any other training related functions that may be required from time to time.
Support management in new projects and tasks that demands Load control Instructor support as an SME including on board load master role, if required.
Be qualified to develop and deliver other Ground Service Training Subjects within the given time frame provided by MGST.
Assist and support Manager Ground Service Training in OMD Vol 4 & 5 Revision process.
Assist and support MGST in Preparation for departmental audit and further actions and follow up on any audit findings and observations.
Be compliance to Courseware revision procedure of all AVSEC & DG Training Courseware documented in chapter 4 of OMD Vol 4 & 5
EDUCATION & TRAINING
Degree/Diploma equivalent to the HND level of education.
Preferably with a detailed knowledge in international airline management and operations with extensive experience in Load control activities, transport and handling of Dangerous Goods, Ramp Safety and Ground handling.
Must be computer literate in all Windows and MS Office applications.
Proven ability to write concise and accurate training procedures and programmes is required.
Good command of English language (written and spoken).
Experience in preparation of training course materials, course note, including those for quality control.

EXPERIENCE
7 years with a major international airline in the area of Load Control, Dangerous Goods and Ramp Handling in supervisory level in the field of specialization. Experience in other areas of Ground Operations will be an advantage.
A minimum of 3 years of instructional experience in the relevant field is desirable.
