Main Objectives
Technical Records Officer is responsible towards the management and documentation of Gulf Air's maintenance records to ensure compliance with airworthiness regulations. The role involves assisting in maintenance planning, coordinating controlled tasks, and documenting airworthiness concerns in aircraft logbooks. The role shall maintain an organized record management in compliance with regulations and lessor requirements and preparing final data for end-of-lease processes, ensuring all queries from aircraft owners are addressed effectively. Overall, the objectives centre on ensuring the safety, efficiency, and regulatory adherence of the Gulf Air fleet.
Main Duties
Assist and manage the designated elements of the maintenance planning and documentation for the Gulf Air fleet records.
All designated controlled tasks, life limitations, and airworthiness concerns governed by the approved continued airworthiness management system must be coordinated, executed, and documented in the associated aircraft logbooks upon their completion.
Maintain the computer-based records and control system for continued airworthiness that complies with the maintenance management and control requirements outlined in the regulation & Technical Manuals.
Support Technical Records Supervisor in monitoring & track of component records movement, traceability, and related documents of all Gulf Air registered aircraft.
Ensure the preparation and provision of all necessary aircraft technical data as specified by projects, collaborating with Technical Records Supervisors to supply all relevant technical documentation for the aircraft phase-out process.
Participate in and assist with both internal and external meetings as instructed by the TRS, in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the Departmental Handbook.
Review Gulf Air completed maintenance documentation to ensure that procedures are meeting TQA documentation standards and report any anomalies discovered.
Take on special assignment, tasks, and responsibility, as defined by Tech Record management.
Review and update AMOS system with aircraft’s tracked parts movement.
Maintain aircraft records and ensure that stored and archived in compliance with the Regulations and lessor requirements.
Maintaining a hard copy or soft copy as required, of the records most essential data per aircraft tail registration in separate folders such as AD’s, SB’s, HT, and LLP’s both landing gears and engines, DFP’s, repair schemes and all mods.
Prepare aircraft final data prior end of lease/ sale input and coordinate all open issues with the Technical Records Supervisor. And respond to queries related to aircraft records as when they arise from the aircraft owners.
EDUCATION
Educated up to HND level in relevant field (or equivalent) with additional computer knowledge.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in Airlines field.
