JOB PURPOSE
  • The Senior Engineer – Asset Planning is responsible for implementing and maintaining the Asset Management ISO 55001 standard. This role involves overseeing the Asset Maintenance and Job Plans within the Master Maintainable Asset Registry in BAC CMMS (Maximo). The engineer ensures that the facility management maintenance plans and processes are aligned with the organization's strategic goals and comply with international standards, including ISO 55001.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Asset Planning:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive asset management plans.

  • Develop and implement asset management processes and procedures that meet the requirements of ISO 55001.

  • Working closely with other FM departments to ensure job plans and PM plans are current and aligned with industry standards and asset lifecycle.

  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with ISO 55001.

  • Reporting:

  • Undertake performance assessments, data analysis, data management and reporting.

  • Data Management and Change Management:

  • Support planning and execution of periodic Master data checks.

  • Assist in creating and modifying Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) workflows in line with FM. processes.

  • Processes, Procedures and Compliance:

  • Develop Asset integration procedures adhering to international standards such as ISO55001.

  • Stay informed about industry regulations and standards including ISO 55000.

  • Ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

  • Conducting regular compliance audits and assessments.

  • Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Communicating asset management plans and performance effectively.

  • Managing stakeholder expectations and resolving conflicts.

  • Team Leadership:

  • Mentoring and developing junior engineers to enhance their skills.

  • Delegating tasks and responsibilities effectively to optimize team performance.

  • Fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical) or an equivalent qualification.

Experience

  • A minimum of 5 Years of experience.

  • Previous expertise in managing airport assets or experience in industries with complex asset management requirements.
