JOB PURPOSE:

The appointee to this position shall have a sense of urgency without sacrificing safety and quality. He sees to it that flights

are dispatched promptly as scheduled except in instances where delay is inevitable or beyond his control. He sees to it that

before flights can land or leave with all permissions provided, all the necessary requirements or formalities are complied

with. He shall work in a clockwise precision allowing no unreasonable delays. He considers every flight as important as the

valuable time of its passengers. Time Is of The Essence, shall be his guiding work principle in discharging his duties and

responsibilities. In resume, he shall be in-charge of the prompt and timely dispatch of flights.

JOB MAIN DUTIES:

Effectively manage potential heavy email and phone call volume

Prompt and/or timely Flight Dispatch

Ability to use different applications related to aviation

Process of landing and overflight permissions

Flight Following

Communications

Record Keeping

Flight Scheduling

Preparation of all flight papers including flight plans, weather and NOTAMS

Coordinate and plan with internal stakeholders for aircraft handling

Opens and closes service authorizations on completion of services

Coordinate with government agencies (MOI, Customs, Immigrations)

Arrange hotel accommodation and crew transportation

Prepares and maintains daily aircraft movement schedule

Proactively communicate and escalate issues as required

To note in Job Order forms what work was performed on the aircraft for billing and to be signed by the pilots of the aircraft serviced and to be given

To carry out any additional duties that maybe assigned from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Qualification: High National Diploma

Minimum Experience: 4 years experience in customer service, administration and operations coordinations

Job Specific Skills:

Ability to operate basic office equipment (like computers, photocopiers, SITA units, etc.)

Ability to learn and operate SITA software / ARINC

Ability to deal with people of different nationalities and in different situations

Ability to use common sense to resolve problems faced during operations

Able to interact with different types of individuals of different or multi-nationalities

Knowledge of Arabic and English is a must

Ability to communicate with VVIP clients in a courteous and decent way

Ability to pleasantly interact with everybody
