JOB PURPOSE

The role is responsible to managing the day to day assigned operational activities of the department, providing assistance to parking users, supervising Airport Taxi drivers, and accurately collecting parking fees

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Accurate collection of car parking fees

  • Provision of excellent customer care and information to customers

  • Excellent knowledge of customer relationship and service to BIA car park customers

  • Notify the Technicians when there is problem with the parking system.

  • Monitor car park security conditions.

  • Reports any hazards or maintenance requirements immediately to the Facility Manager

  • Maintain Cleanliness of the booth

  • Manage car park operations in the absence of the shift supervisor.

  • Manning locations in the car park

  • Supervising taxi drivers and monitoring pickup operations.

  • Sufficient knowledge of controlling parking at entrances and Exits through CPMS (Car park management system)

  • Opening and closing the parking lots if they are full and directing the customer to other alternative parking spaces.

  • Assist Shift In charge in ensuring all Car park are available for passenger’s use.

  • Monitor and assist to ensure seamless operations during special events, promotions & contingency situations.

  • Preparing a daily report on the movement of taxi drivers

  • Regular daily inspections are conducted on taxi drivers' vehicles to diligently monitor their condition and verify the integrity of their safety equipment, thereby ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance.

  • On receipt of relevant information about emergency, share detailed information with Management as per laid down guidelines, in addition, taking pictures to record any incident.

  • Ensure that Works in his allocation happens as per the conditions mentioned in the Work Permit by Appropriate authority.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Education / Qualifications

  • Diploma or Equivalent training

Experience

  • 1-2 years of working experience in similar position.

Job Specific Skills:

  • Proactive approach and positive attitude.

  • Good knowledge of MS office.

Client relations and public interaction skills.
