MAIN OBJECTIVES
Management and ensure compiling the Man-Hours expended and materials used and make a claim on OEMs- and Vendors within a specified period in respect of the entire GF Fleet.
Compile all the technical data, man hours, materials etc., relating to accidents, incidents and damages and submit for Insurance claims.
MAIN DUTIES
1. Based on TOR, Safety Reports, Incident reports, ATL, AMOS etc., log all warranty claims within Technical Division to ensure all documentations for claim are not overlooked by the various concerned parties in the Technical Division
2. Periodically follow up with all Senior Managers, Managers within Technical division to ensure accurate data compilation, collect all insurance related incidents requiring Technical Data input and log them.
3. Ensure all administration and documents are processed in accordance with applicable regulatory procedures and standards
4. Liaise between various internal departments and OEM and vendors as required to respond to OEM/vendor enquiries to collate al warranty documents.
5. Coordinate requests for Claims, and credits with Finance Management.
6. Review MRO System and Daily activity log for Aircraft and related defects for claim processing.
7. All Aircraft associated warranty claims to be collected and submitted electronically to OEM / Vendors for immediate action.
8. Electronically submitted claims should be printed, filed and or where possible scanned to the applicable Aircraft and project in Share point or MIS system for future reference.
9. Sales orders, credit memos and miscellaneous invoices are processed quickly and in accordance with the procedures.
10. All claims’ forms and associated OEM & Aircraft correspondence are filed and easily accessible.
11. Vendor's credit memos are checked and updated to accounts payable to the correct claims and invoices.
12. An accurate and detailed warranty status report is maintained and available for perusal by management at all times.
13. The warranty claim accounts and statements are reconciled with the warranty status report update accounts payable.
14. Follow up with OEM and Vendors for any outstanding claims with a view to clearing all credits within 60 days.
15. Close the claim within technical division upon confirmation from Manager Insurance.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
College graduate or equivalent with IT knowledge and skills preferably with:
1/ knowledge of Aircraft and Maintenance issues.
2/ Knowledge in aircraft warranty management.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in technical warranty management with knowledge in technical aircraft records.
Basic airline experience preferably in Technical Division.
