JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Officer – Standard Assurance is responsible for ensuring that the organization's assets are being managed effectively and with highest quality. This includes implementing quality assurance programs, conducting audits, and reporting on the results of the audits. The Senior Officer – Standard Assurance is required to stay up to date on the latest trends in Asset management in order to effectively ensure Asset quality are maintained.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Data Collection, Analysis an reporting:
Gathering data on asset performance metrics, such as equipment downtime, maintenance history, and energy consumption.
Utilizing data analysis tools to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues.
Preparing detailed reports on asset performance and reliability.
Support management with frequent and ad-hoc reporting as required
Support implementation of condition monitoring technologies (vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, etc.).
Asset Inspection, Assurance and Audits:
Supporting the planning and execution of asset inspections.
Identifying defects, wear, and other asset degradation indicators.
Implement quality assurance programs.
Documenting inspection findings and recommending corrective actions.
Conducting asset audits to verify compliance with standards and procedures.
Monitor and follow up corrective and improvement action
Follow up with respective persons responsible for rectification and improvement action and ensure the issues are addressed with attention and that standards are achieved after the action
Risk Assessment:
Contributing to risk assessments by providing technical data and analysis.
Identifying potential failure modes and their consequences.
Recommending risk mitigation measures.
Maintenance Planning:
Assisting in developing and updating maintenance plans and schedules.
Generating work orders and spare parts requests.
Coordinating maintenance activities with operations and production teams.
Compliance:
Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies. Such as ISO55000
Maintaining asset documentation and records.
Supporting compliance audits and assessments.
Education / Qualifications / Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in any of: Operations Research; Business Process management, Industrial Engineering; Hospitality Management
A minimum of 5 Years of experience
