MAIN OBJECTIVES
  • To provide efficient and accurate reservations and ticketing service to all eligible employees and their family members, and to handle tickets daily sales and refund of unused tickets.

MAIN DUTIES

1.Make reservations on both GF and Other airlines flights.

2.Price rebate applications and issues tickets on Gulf Air and on other airlines according to the respective ticketing agreements.

3.Handle booking request for:

a)Former staff both at HDQ and outstations

b)Active staff

4.Process refund ticket request through STMS system and provide staff with reference code.

5.Prepare daily sales and refund reports and maintain refund cash float of BD 3000/- and amend Staff Travel System accordingly.

6.Issue/reissue MCOs and send PTAs and action incoming PTAs for Staff Travel.

7.Handle all queries received through Staff Travel Call Centre from both HDQ and outstation staff 24/7

8.Issue IATA introductory letters to other airlines for both former and active staff and their eligible family members through Staff Travel System.

9.Issue freight authorization voucher to eligible staff.

10.Maintain staff ticket entitlement in Staff Travel System when processing tickets manually.

11.Verify staff’s family eligibility to receive staff travel benefits in Staff Travel System to prevent manipulation of staff travel

12.Issue annual Leave/Repatriation tickets and maintain staff record accordingly for offline destination.

13.Assist in scrutinizing tickets coupons against daily sales report and staff record in Staff Travel System and insure forgery free and accuracy of tickets issued and reports discrepancies.

14.Handle ticket daily sales in the range of BD 2000/-

15.Report all tickets in Staff Travel System and ensure tickets issued on payroll deduction are accepted for deduction by Staff Travel System.

16.Prepare monthly statistics reports.

EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE
  • 0-1 year of experience in Sales or reservations is preferred.
