MAIN DUTIES
Efficient Operation
Ensures that activities are performed to the required standard using laid down procedures to maintain maximum and continuous simulator service availability.
Carries out fault escalation and problem rectification in accordance with the fault handling and escalation procedures to avoid loss of revenue.
Updates and maintains flight simulator records according to business requirements.
Ensures adequate spares are maintained and faulty units are regularly dispatched for repairs.
In case of defective items, packs and send shipments for item to be repaired.
Handle product exchange with manufacturers and record all related activities.
Quality of Services
Monitors the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and supervision of the quality of customer services, initiating the corrective actions when necessary to maintain successful operation of the flight simulator.
Carries out preventive and corrective actions with minimum impact on customer satisfaction.
Ensures that safety and security regulations are strictly adhered to in full.
Works closely with Simulator Supervisors and Duty managers to gain the required knowledge and experience.
Ensure to take care of the assigned simulators to be compliance with aviation safety all time and maintaining the certification of the devices in annual basis by completing the necessary tasks.
Work in all tasks assigned by the Simulator Duty Manager during the shift to ensure meeting the priorities of the departments.
Completing all assigned tasks requested by line manager to ensure continuity of work including internal and external projects.
Contribute to the quarterly QTG runs and associated checks.
Ensure to complete all documentation tasks related to the assigned responsibilities.
External Customer Satisfaction
Ensures that day-to-day operations are effective and efficient to provide best services to customers.
Continuous Improvement
Continuously update technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, and conducting research on fault diagnosis.
Develop simulator technical support skills by applying technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks associated with best commercial practice and guidelines.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Electrical/Aircraft Engineering.
EXPERIENCE
0-2 years of experience in Flight Stimulator Engineering.
Fluent in English.
Knowledge of programming is an advantage.
Knowledge of electronics fault-finding techniques.
Aviation Knowledge is preferred
