MAIN OBJECTIVES
  • The primary objective of this role is to ensure the efficient and accurate handling of aircraft maintenance checks. This includes preparing and managing the check work package, distributing task cards, monitoring task completion, updating the AMOS system, and ensuring all tasks are certified and documented correctly. The jobholder will coordinate with various departments to ensure the maintenance check is completed smoothly and effectively.

MAIN DUTIES

1.Task Card Management:

•Review the issued package against the tally sheet before loading tasks on the board.

•Notify Production Planning of any anomalies.

•Load maintenance task cards on the maintenance board in their applicable zones 12 hours prior to aircraft induction into the hangar.

•Monitor task completion and update the AMOS system.

•Ensure all task cards are certified and closed properly.

2.Coordination and Communication:

•Coordinate with the main store to prepare and issue work package preload 12 hours prior to input start.

•Physically check preloaded materials/parts against the preload pick-slip.

•Notify Production Planning of any discrepancies.

•Order missing preload items through AMOS and ensure timely collection from the main stores.

•Coordinate with the base duty manager to ensure received preload spare parts are serviceable and in good condition, with all necessary tags and forms attached.

3.Material and Spare Parts Management:

•Manage the ordering and collection of spare parts required during the maintenance check.

•Ensure serviceable materials are returned to inventory.

•Send unserviceable materials back to stores.

4.Non-Routine Card (NRC) Management:

•Generate and close NRCs in the AMOS system.

•Ensure realistic man-hour estimates for NRCs.

•Create and print the NRC tally sheet.

•Ensure all NRCs are closed and filed.

5.Documentation and Reporting:

•Maintain and update various logs and charts, such as the dent and buckle chart.

•Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.

•Reprint damaged or obliterated work cards or worksheets from SharePoint.

6.Quality Control:

•Verify the accuracy and completeness of task cards and work packages.

•Ensure all work is certified and documented correctly.

•Notify the Duty Manager or Production Planning Engineer of any open items.

7.Housekeeping and Safety:

•Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in the work area.

8.Additional Responsibilities:

•Dispatch samples and specimens as needed.

•Print packages for last-minute forecast changes.

•Track and update the package with component changes.

•Raise Aircraft on Ground (AOG) orders in AMOS and follow up with materials.

EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma.

EXPERIENCE
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
