KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

To develop landscape operation, maintenance and beautification plan for routine, periodic preventative maintenance activities for plants, irrigation and water feature assets that follows asset lifecycle maintenance approach.
To monitor and control landscape operations & maintenance plans, schedules and execution at site, verify conformity to schedules, plans and resource deployment.
To identify and correct needs for corrective and ad hoc maintenance and repair of assets due to fault or incident and prevent potential issues of escalations.
To monitor, correct and report any inconsistences in landscape contractor performance or behaviour observed or escalate to line manager.
To inspect, verify and ensure that landscape contractor has safety plans in place and has appropriate PPE, permits and authorisations while carrying out their activities at site.
To carry out onsite inspections and verification of works done by the contractor including all aspect their activities, resources deployed and overall outcomes.
inspect for landscape asset conditions, damages to contours, hardscape, plants or systems due to accident or natural factors; and prepare and implement rectification plan to restore the landscape to original state.
Through Coordination and consultation with concerned sections and/or departments, facilitate productive work condition to landscape contractors, i.e. permissions for excavation, hoarding, lifting and confined space access, site clearance for enabling works.
Prepare monthly report with regards to contractors’ performance and key summaries of service deliveries for the management and in line with reporting requirements
Review plans, process and procedures and where necessary advice and propose improvement in SOPs, draft new SOP as applicable, Scope of works and BOQ for new RFPs, and processes with respect to landscape maintenance and operation.
Take initiatives to improve beautifications projects, propose project scope, technical write ups, develop sketches, drawings and specifications for works to be done in-house, ongoing contractor or for Tender out.
Take action on approved service request for incident rectification tickets, work orders and complete/resolve such works using Software (Maximo).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Landscape Maintenance or Agriculture/Horticulture Engineering
5 years filed experience as landscape maintenance engineer with direct responsibility to oversee daily maintenance operations. The experience shall be in large landscape flagship development project, public parks projects in Bahrain or GCC regions.
