KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure all routine, periodic, preventative, reactive and ad- hoc works are carried out within set timelines, resources and in line with specifications, methodology, SOP guidelines and work plans.
Correct/resolve inconsistency in contractor performance as found during the supervision and monitoring of contractor tasks and activities. If the nature of inconsistency can not be resolved, escalate to section head immediately.
To attend any incident/ accident site immediately in the respective responsibility area, take in charge of the situation, carry out investigation, take immediate necessary corrective and preventative measures, coordinate and collaborate with stakeholder where necessary and required if required consult with section head or soft services manager. All incident and accidents shall be immediately reported to Section Head and Manager.
To support and enable soft services contractors carry out their scheduled activities through coordinating with various stakeholders (ECC, APOC, AOD, AVSEC, tenants) and secure permissions for contractor to start their works.
Complete all relevant sections and submit daily shift report as per daily shift report process and procedures defined by the department.
To enforce preventative safe working practices by the contractors and instruct corrective measures to be taken when safety issues arise.
Ensure economical use of materials and resources provided by BAC to the contractors while ensuring all desired outcome are achieved.
To ensure nonconformity of standards, violations of workplace policy, procedures and regulations are immediately identified / corrected and reported on timely and accurate manner to the management.
To ensure standard of cleanliness and hygiene are achieved by using best practice approaches and performance outcome standards.
To respond in a prompt and efficient manner to all tickets for service request, incident, additional works issued through Engineering control center. All such works are to be carried out with appropriate priority and ticket to be closed promptly.
Check and verify quantity and quantity of works carried out and delivered by various soft services contractors (goods and services).
To ensure proper care and operations of soft services equipment taking responsibility for their allocation, operational control and productivity as well as caretaking of the machinery. Any misuse shall be prevented by applying all possible control measures.
Coordinate with HEO, ECC and APOC, Airside operation, IBM O&M, FM-ALM and Aerodrome Safety departments to ensure seamless soft services activities.
Receive, consolidate and channel all reports, receipts, and delivery notes as defined by the soft services management and document control protocol of the section/department.
Monitor stock of materials, analyze trend of past consumption to predict future requirements of stocks and raise material requisition to restock consumable replenishment inventory.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, General Management and Social Science
8 years of combined experience as soft services supervisor/shift leader for a large single site operation.
Minimum of 5 years in all-rounder soft services supervision in Airport, high-capacity international events level stadiums; exhibitions; shopping malls.
