JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Manager Sales Performance is responsible for leading enterprise-wide performance measurement, insights, and decision support. The role translates complex commercial, operational, and network data into actionable insights that drive revenue growth, cost efficiency, and strategic performance across the Sales organization.
This role acts as a strategic partner to senior leadership, ensuring performance outcomes are tracked, understood, and continuously improved.
Key Responsibilities
1.Assist in evaluating current and future sales plans.
2.Analyse and communicate revenue data on regular basis, to assist in the development of sales business plan.
3.Monitor, analyse and report on route and point of sales performance, and recommend changes to the current operation.
4.Perform economic analysis of any new route opportunities and progress to a business case to support sales decision.
5.Recommend short-term product changes to improve performance.
6.Provide key resource areas with key statistics to aid future planning.
7.Develop high level plans to support sales generation.
8.Responsible for providing to Line manager detailed analysis concerning the company’s route Profitability and Performance, traffic and market conditions.
9.Critically examine alternatives and make cost benefit analysis.
10.Discuss, explain and analyze scenario evaluation for business cases while deciding upon executing new strategy, or opening new routes and stations or increasing/decreasing the frequency of flights in a particular sector.
11.Define and own the airline’s performance framework, KPIs, and scorecards across Sales.
12.Ensure alignment of performance metrics with corporate strategy, annual business plans, and leadership priorities
13.Lead performance reviews with senior management, highlighting risks, opportunities, and corrective actions
14.Lead advanced analysis of revenue, sales productivity, route performance, load factor, yield, RASK/CASK, and customer KPIs
14.Convert data into clear insights and executive-level narratives to support decision-making
15.Identify performance gaps, root causes, and improvement opportunities across departments
16.Support Sales and Distribution teams with performance insights by market, channel, corporate accounts, and agents
17.Partner with Network Planning on route profitability, seasonality analysis, and capacity optimization
18. Support pricing, promotions, and commercial initiatives through performance tracking and post-implementation reviews
19. Lead and develop a team of performance analysts, ensuring capability building and analytical maturity
20. Act as the central point of governance for performance data accuracy, consistency, and reporting standards
Drive automation and digitalization of dashboards and reporting tools.
21. Ensure stakeholders are aligned on performance outcomes.
Education / Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in management & economics or Statistics. Or equivalent
Experience
•Minimum 2 years of experience in a responsible position in planning or marketing in an international airline or equivalent organization.
•High level of knowledge and understanding of Sales / Finance/Network systems is essential.
