JOB PURPOSE:
Provide paralegal and administrative support across the Gulf Air Group, with a primary focus on the Gulf Air (airline) workstream, and provide direct support to the Legal Engineer on legal data, tooling and process work. Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, the role assists with document preparation, contract administration, legal research, maintenance of the Group’s legal registers, and coordination of legal activities. The role works flexibly across the team – supporting Group and airport matters and cross-covering for colleagues when needed – reflecting a collaborative, one-team approach rather than rigid portfolios.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Paralegal Support
Provide paralegal and administrative support to the Gulf Air legal workstream – document preparation, filing, contract administration and basic legal research.
Provide primary–secondary cover across customer and HR litigation / claims administration.
Support to the Legal Engineer – Data, Tooling & Registers
Support the Legal Engineer with legal data, tooling and process work, including maintaining and improving the litigation & disputes register, the contract registry, trackers and dashboards.
Help keep legal data clean and consistent (counterparty and status hygiene) so reporting is reliable.
Documents, Records & Coordination
Maintain legal databases, registers and filing systems (physical and electronic), with proper version control and archiving.
Coordinate signing, execution and record-keeping of legal documents, and track deadlines and action items.
Cross-Group Support
Cross-cover and assist colleagues across the airline, airport and Group as needed, in a flexible, one-team way.
Compliance
Follow all, risk, compliance, and Code of Conduct requirements when performing daily duties.
Complete all mandatory compliance and safety training within the required timelines.
Report suspected misconduct, policy violations, or regulatory concerns through approved channels.
Risk and Information Security
Protect business information at all time and adhere to information security procedures.
Report any discrepancies, irregularities, or suspected information-security breaches immediately.
Maintain accurate and accessible documentation relevant to assigned duties.
Safety (Gulf Air)
Follow the SMS policy and procedures.
Report hazards/unsafe conditions promptly.
Report incidents/near-misses immediately.
Use PPE and safe practices.
Keep required safety records accurate.
Follow Business Case / command center instructions when activated.
Safety (Bahrain Airport Company)
Comply with SMS safety procedures and guidelines.
Identify and report hazards, unsafe conditions and incidents promptly.
Use appropriate PPE and support a positive safety culture through responsible behaviour.
Business Continuity
Understand assigned BC responsibilities and follow organizational continuity plans.
Participate in all required BC drills, simulations, and training.
Remain reachable/on-call and report to work if required during Business Continuity or command center activation.
Notify management before international travel to support continuity planning.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in law, or an equivalent major in the related field.
EXPERIENCE:
0-2 years experience in a legal support, paralegal or legal-administration role.
