JOB PURPOSE
Develop and manage the airline's long-term flight schedules and capacity plans to support network strategy, commercial objectives, operational feasibility, and fleet utilization targets. Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure schedules are optimized, aligned with network planning initiatives, and delivered in a timely manner to support schedule publication and market availability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and maintain long-term flight schedules in alignment with the airline's network strategy, fleet plans, and commercial objectives.
• Evaluate schedule scenarios, frequency adjustments, seasonal planning requirements, and capacity deployment opportunities to maximize network performance.
• Coordinate with Network Planning to translate approved network and route strategies into operationally viable schedules.
• Analyze schedule performance, fleet utilization, aircraft rotations, connectivity opportunities, and market demand trends to support schedule optimization.
• Ensure schedule plans comply with operational, regulatory, airport slot, and resource constraints.
• Work closely with Revenue Management, Commercial, Operations, and Fleet Planning teams to balance market demand with operational requirements.
• Oversee slot requirements and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to support schedule development and network growth initiatives.
• Provide schedule recommendations to support route launches, frequency increases, network adjustments, and strategic growth opportunities.
• Coordinate with the Schedule Publication function to ensure approved schedules are accurately and timely published through reservation and distribution systems.
• Monitor schedule changes impacting published schedules and ensure alignment between planning activities and schedule publication requirements.
• Prepare schedule analyses, planning reports, and recommendations for management review and decision-making.
• Support the continuous improvement of scheduling processes, systems, and analytical capabilities.
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in aviation management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Research, Economics, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in airline scheduling, network planning, schedule planning, fleet planning, or related aviation functions.
